SerieKollen separates collector-owned registry data, public comic metadata, platform analytics, and authentication boundaries so each part of the system remains clear.
Registry control
User ownership
Collectors retain ownership of the registry records, grades, notes, purchase prices, marketplace references, and transactional data they add to SerieKollen. Users may modify, export, or delete their collection data.
Global statistics
Platform analytics
SerieKollen may process anonymized and aggregated valuation, grade, and collection trends to build global statistics. These analytics do not expose an individual collector without consent.
Identity boundary
Authentication and Clerk
Identity management is handled through Clerk. SerieKollen does not process or store raw passwords, and authentication remains separated from collection metadata and registry records.
Metadata source
Data boundaries and sync delays
Core comic metadata belongs to the Grand Comics Database community record. Corrections should be made at comics.org. A delay may occur before GCDMP imports and exposes updates in SerieKollen.
Current phase
Warranty and GDPR
SerieKollen is provided as-is during its current phase. The project is designed around GDPR principles, including data portability and erasure of personal registry data.
